The Tavares Youth Football League, Inc. (TYFL) has been serving the boys and girls of Lake County since April 21, 1975. The mission of Tavares Youth Football League is to enable young people to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, Tavares Youth Football programs teaches sportsmanship, core values, skills and knowledge that the children will be able to use throughout their lives.
The Tavares Youth Football League is a NON-PROFIT organization that is community operated by volunteers with no financial assistance from government. All financial income is raised through registrations fees and donations. However, to keep the cost of registration down for the families of children that participate in the league, we rely heavily on donations from outside supporters. It is those supporters that are truly our backbone and unsung heroes.
If you would like to sponsor a football team or cheerleading squad it would be greatly appreciated. All sponsors will be recognized with their name printed on the sleeves of Coaches shirts that are worn during game play. Sponsors get free admission to their game. Sponsors will also receive special recognition during game play, along with multiple announcements through out the six games played each Saturday. We greatly appreciate any support.
